Change of Mind

Lauren and I have decided that we are going to change our mind on a few things, which I have now gone back and edited to how they will be now:

  • We were going to have our film in black and white and then have a colour change when our protagonist meets her guide dog, however we have decided we feel this is too cliché and will therefore have the full film in colour. Hence, I have gone back and edited the planning so that it is relevant to how our film will be now.

Film Review Planning

Film review planning and feedback from LJ298

We created 3 mock-up magazine film reviews and gave them to our audiences in order to choose the best design for our review.

Film Poster Planning

We have created 3 mock-ups of how we could layout our film poster and have given these out to people in order to gain audience feedback and help us to choose an appropriate layout.

Research for Film Poster Analysis

Conventions of a film poster from Charlie Southam

These are two SlideShare's I found to help me with the detailed film poster analysis'. One shows someone's analysis of film posters and the other outlines the codes and conventions of them, making it an easier way to distinguish the technique of analysing such posters and what is expected of them, for when Lauren and I will make out own.

Short Film Poster Research

Today I researched both short film posters and full length film posters in order to decide which I want to annotate for my research stage.
I have decided to annotate a full length film poster as there is more detail and effects given through them, meaning it gives me a greater idea of how to create a professional, industry standard poster for mine and Lauren's film.

I am annotating the poster of 127 HOURS.
